THE DRESSMAKER is a drama about a woman returning to the town where she spent her childhood and attempting to uncover the truth about a death that occurred many years before.

Language

There are two uses of strong language ('f**k'), one employed in an aggressive manner and one used to express frustration.

Violence

There is a scene containing moderate bloody violence as a man is stabbed in the leg, causing blood to spurt out onto the floor.

Drugs

One of the characters provides another with chocolate brownies that are laced with marijuana. This is shown to be purely for the purposes of pain relief.

There are visual sex references as a couple start to undress prior to sex but are interrupted.
