THE DEAD DON'T DIE is a horror comedy in which the residents of a small US town find themselves besieged by zombies during an apocalyptic lunar event.

Violence

There is gory injury detail during scenes in which zombies attack people, biting off and eating lumps of flesh. There is also a scene in which a young woman's head is cut off, after she is already dead. There are several violent scenes in which zombies are attacked by humans, with beheadings and close-range gunshots blowing their heads open or off. When the zombies are stabbed or shot, they don't bleed but emit a sandy substance.

Language

There is strong language throughout ('f**k', 'motherf**ker').

A white man wears a cap with the slogan 'Keep America white again' printed on it. When ordering coffee, he declares 'I hate black', then awkwardly apologises to a black acquaintance.
