Note: The following text may contain spoilers

THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON is a drama about a man who ages backwards, born as an old man and 'aging' towards youth.

Language

There is infrequent use of strong language ('f**k').

Violence

Infrequent scenes of violence occur in a wartime context, including a scene from a World War One battlefield in which a blood spurt retracts back into a man's head as the sequence plays backwards, and another scene in which some bloody chest wounds are briefly visible as a man dies.

Infrequent moderate sex references include a comic scene in which the protagonist visits a brothel, where we see him emerge from under the covers with a prostitute, who tells him to calm down.
