CHILDREN OF THE SNOW LAND is a documentary following three teenagers who return to their remote villages after being sent away to boarding school.

Theme

There are distressing references to teenagers feeling as if they had been abandoned by their parents. There are also verbal references to a child who lost a parent, to the 2015 Nepal earthquake and to alcoholism. Footage showing the aftermath of an earthquake shows collapsed buildings and people living on the streets, having been made homeless.

There is a scene in which adult villagers drink beer.
