THE BOY WHO HARNESSED THE WIND is a drama based on a true story about a boy who uses his hard won education to help his struggling village.

Language

There are occasional uses of mild bad language including 'bullshit', 'shit', 'hell' and 'darn'.

Violence

Mild violence includes a man being pushed to the ground and kicked by security guards. He is left with a small smear of blood on his face. There are also arguments between groups of men who push and shove at each other in anger. There is a passing reference to sexual violence when a woman shouts that a robber could have "raped and killed" her.

Sex

A family worry that a young woman will be 'disgraced' by her suitor. A man refuses to talk about an intimate relationship he had with a woman.

There are some scenes of emotional upset as villagers mourn the deaths of some friends. A young boy weeps over the body of his dead dog.
