BETTER DAYS is a Mandarin language drama which a teenage girl studying for an important high school exam falls victim to bullying.

Threat and horror

There is strong threat in the context of bullying as a teenage girl is verbally taunted, pushed around and victimised by her peers. The girl is also subjected to threats by a street gang who manhandle her and force her to kiss a man who is in the process of being beaten up by them. Another girl is given a threatening warning by a man who pins her against a wall and stabs a knife into a wall beside her head.

There is moderate violence with some aftermath injury detail, which is also seen on a body being dug up. A suicide takes place and subsequent references are made to what happened. There is a passing reference to a rape. There is moderate and mild bad language which includes uses of 'bitch', 'slut' and 'bullshit'.
