AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY is a US drama in which family members return home to attend their father's funeral.

Language

There is a single use of the term 'c**t', as well as strong language including use of 'f**k' and one use of 'motherf***er'.

Marijuana is seen being smoked and there are several verbal and visual drug references, the majority relating to the misuse of prescription medication.

Two of the characters are conducting a secret love affair. The couple wrongly believe that they are first cousins, but learn that they are in fact half-brother and half-sister.
