AQUARELA is a documentary depicting frozen landscapes and the effects of melting ice around the world.

Disturbing images

Vehicles are seen sinking through ice on a frozen lake. Following one incident, two survivors are found in a state of distress, reporting that their friend has drowned under the ice. Emergency services try to retrieve the body without immediate success, with momentary focus on the despair of the survivors.

There is mild injury detail when a man is seen with a slightly bloodied face. Footage of flooding and hurricanes includes some sight of animals stranded on houses surrounded by flood water.

This work contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
