APOSTASY is a drama which concerns the tensions within a family of Jehovah's Witnesses following a religious transgression.

Language

There is mild bad language ('piss off').

Theme

There are some upsetting scenes. In one scene, a teenage girl becomes unwell and it is subsequently reported that she has died. In another scene, a woman tries to take a young woman's baby; however, the younger woman rapidly retrieves the child. There are also scenes in which people becomes distressed and cry.

There is also a brief verbal reference to "fornication".
