AI WEI WEI - NEVER SORRY is a documentary about the Chinese artist and dissident. The film was classified '15' for strong language.

The film contains eleven uses of strong language, some of which occur in the context of art installations or as written slogans. This number of uses of strong language exceeds the terms of the BBFC's '12A'/'12' Guidelines but is allowable at '15' where the Guidelines state 'There may be frequent use of strong language (for example, 'fuck')'. Some of the art pieces also involve strong hand gestures, including photographs of well known buildings and monuments with the artist's raised middle finger in the foreground.

The film also contains a single moderate sex reference when a photograph is shown of a raincoat that has a condom hanging through a hole "where the penis would fit". There are also some distressing images showing earthquake victims, taken from 2008 news footage. The scenes focus mainly on the distress of some of the survivors rather than on any strong injury detail.
