AGENT VINOD is a Hindi language action spy thriller about an Indian spy who is trying to track a secret code in order to prevent a terrorist attack on his home nation. The film was classified '12' for moderate violence and gore.

The film contains several sequences of fast-paced action violence, with the hero engaged in various fights against his enemies. The violence includes martial arts-style punches, kicks and body-blows, as well as scenes of gunshot violence with brief injury detail. The pace and rapid editing style of the film is typical of an action thriller, so the scenes of violence do not emphasise detail of blood or injury beyond fleeting images. The most detailed moments of violence include a moment in which the hero shoots three times at a double-crossing agent character, in point blank style. The gunshots result in blood patches on the man's suit, which are briefly but clearly visible. Similarly, in another scene the hero is engaged in a gun duel with a villain in a public area. The villain is shot in the forehead, sending him spinning backwards. There is no detail of the impact but there is brief sight of the gunshot wound to the man's forehead. The BBFC's Guidelines at '12A/'12' state 'Moderate violence is allowed but should not dwell on detail. There should be no emphasis on injuries or blood, but occasional gory moments may be permitted if justified by the context'.

The film also contains some mild bad language (eg 'son of a bitch', 'bastard', 'bloody').
