THE ACCOUNTANT OF AUSCHWITZ is a documentary which follows the trial of former SS officer Oskar Gröning who was charged for three hundred thousand counts of accessory to murder.

Theme

There are frequent references to murder at concentration camps when the SS guards are on trial. This includes references to shootings, gassings and torture.

Disturbing images

There is black and white footage of a real hanging which includes aftermath shots of a bloodied corpse. There is also a photograph of malnourished corpses at a concentration camp.

There are infrequent references to suicide.
