Note: The following text may contain spoilers

THE 33 is a drama about the 2010 Copiapó mining accident in Chile, in which 33 miners were trapped underground.

Threat

Occasional scenes of moderate threat include an extended sequence in which the mine caves in, trapping the miners as they flee from falling rocks and debris. Various situations then emerge to prolong the threat which the men face, such as fear of starvation, further cave-ins, and failed rescue missions.

Language

There is infrequent moderate bad language ('bitch', 'whore').

In one scene, a character briefly contemplates suicide by jumping from a ledge but is soon talked out of it.
