31 NORTH 62 EAST is a political thriller in which a soldier attempts to uncover the truth about the slaying of her SAS unit in Afghanistan.

Threat

In one scene, a soldier is tortured by having acupuncture needles inserted under her nails. In another scene, a woman is injected with snake venom and her slow deterioration over two days is illustrated by a perspiring face and a small nose bleed. Both scenes of torture are accompanied by strong threat and menace.
