A crunchy scene of violence in which a character fights a criminal gang features crunchy blows including a headbutt, as well as the use of an improvised weapon (a crowbar). A person collapses and is rushed to hospital. It transpires that she has a brain tumour; however, her condition is subsequently diagnosed as curable. People are upset when an ambulance carrying their adult daughter breaks down on the way to hospital. However, there is a reassuring outcome when another driver stops and transports the woman to hospital.

A person becomes drunk. However, his behaviour is not condoned by other characters and, accordingly, drunkenness is clearly disapproved of by the work as a whole.
