There are occasional bloody stabbings and shootings. A man is struck by an axe blow, but this impact is hidden from view. Characters driving a car are repeatedly rammed by another vehicle. A woman is grabbed by the throat and briefly strangled; a man grips a woman's hair, forcing her to look at him.

There are sustained sequences of strong threat as masked, blade wielding intruders intimidate and terrorise a young couple in the home they are staying in; this includes at one point a lone woman unknowingly being watched by a masked man as she showers and suspenseful sequences as people try to silently hide themselves from their tormentors. Frightened people are pursued through woodland and a man is trapped in a burning car, desperately attempting to escape. Characters are tied up and menaced by their captors, who seem intent on murdering them. There are numerous jump scares.

There is strong language ('motherf**ker', 'f**k'), along with milder terms which include 'shit', 'ass', 'God' and 'hell'.
sex
Characters kiss and caress passionately, beginning to undress before being interrupted; there is no nudity. There are occasional verbal sex references and it is implied a couple lying on a sofa together have had sex off-screen.
