Blood spray covers a woman’s face as she hacks an enemy to death with an axe. Shootings and stabbings occasionally result in spurts of blood. Fistfights and beatings feature loud, crunchy punches and bloody aftermath detail. There is also a moderate sequence of attempted drowning.
language
There is use of strong language (‘f**k’). Milder terms include ‘bitch’, ‘son of a bitch’, ‘whore’, ‘bastard’, ‘shit’, ‘bullshit’, ‘piss’, ‘balls’, ‘asshole’ and ‘ass’.
sexual violence and sexual threat
There is focus on a woman’s anguished face during a short sequence of implied rape. In other scenes, an unlikeable character aggravates his female associate by making unsolicited sexually suggestive remarks and at one point kisses her cheek while holding a knife to her throat.
