While the violence often has a comic tone, there are some stronger moments when vampires attack people and when people kill vampires. These include the top of a man's head being removed and chunks being bitten out of people, with spurts of blood. There is also sight of vampires being impaled, electrocuted and exploding.

Vampire attacks carry a moderate level of threat and there are some stronger horror images, including sight of a person's torn throat and sight of vampires dissolving when they have been attacked, for example with Holy water.

Language is generally mild, including uses of 'shit' and 'bastard'.

There is a scene in which a couple are about to have sex, but the scene ends before any sex is shown.

Marijuana plants are seen and a character is shown acting as if he's under the influence of drugs, although drug smoking is not shown.

There is some sight of blood and gore in the aftermath of violence, including a torn throat and a bloody hand following a dog attack. There is also sight of dead bodies being cremated.

There is sight of cigarette smoking. Vampires are seen drinking from wine glasses, although they are drinking blood rather than wine.
There are occasional moderate references to drug misuse. We see a moderate bloody wound on a person’s hand after he is attacked by a dog off screen. There is a short scene of moderate sex in which a couple are shown kissing, undressing and embracing on a bed, without visible nudity. Bad language includes ‘shit’, ‘piss off’, ‘asshole’ and ‘ass’.
