A person is supernaturally compelled to repeatedly slam his head down on a table. A character is stabbed through the eye by a mirror shard before his neck is broken, and there is brief aftermath sight of the corpse's gory eye injury. A person is repeatedly stabbed in the head, accompanied by blood in the aftermath, before he catches fire and burns to death. A deep wound appears on a character's throat after he is menaced by an unseen entity.
threat and horror
Prolonged scenes of threat include those in which people are threatened by a demonically possessed character. In one scene, a character is unnerved when she sees a possessed man urinate in front of her. A character's body bends backwards at an impossible angle before his bones crack. There are regular scenes of supernatural horror, including jump scares.
language
Strong language ('f**k', 'c**ksucker') occurs, as well as moderate ('pussy', 'dick') and milder terms ('shit', 'God', 'Jesus', 'Christ', 'hell').
sex
There are verbal reference to cunnilingus, and to womanising.
discrimination
A demonically possessed character calls a woman a 'dyke'. Discrimination is not condoned by the film as a whole.

Two character share a marijuana joint. There is also a euphemistic reference to snorting drugs, as well as references to a character's former drug habit. Drug misuse is not glamourised.
sexual violence and sexual threat
There are verbal references to institutional child sexual abuse. In one scene, a standing priest briefly pushes a kneeling teenage boy's head towards his groin; however, the scene cuts away rapidly.

A demonically possessed character is compelled to take his own life.

Characters become upset when discussing death and terminal illness.
alcohol and smoking
A character with addiction issues drinks an entire bottle of alcohol; he is demonically possessed and compelled to do so. There are also verbal references to alcohol issues.
