A woman slams a teenage girl's head against a door. People are grabbed and dragged by a monstrous creature; a man stabs this creature several times with a sharp length of wood.

There are sustained sequences of strong supernatural threat and suspense, as a shadowy creature stalks people, including young children, in their home; it is implied this creature has previously killed several children. A teenage girl is knocked over and a tendril forcibly enters her mouth in a brief dream sequence.
