There is strong gory violence, both when zombies attack and eat humans, and when humans fight back against the zombies, including sight of zombies being bludgeoned impaled and shot. However, the overall tone of the film is comic. For example, humans attack zombies by throwing LP records at them.

While there is a sense of threat, as the zombies attack humans and as humans try to protect themselves, any sense of threat is undercut by the film's strongly comic tone.

There is a single use of very strong language ('c**t'), as well as frequent use of strong language ('f**k'). There is also regular use of milder terms, such as 'prick' and 'wanker', and a single instance of the 'n' word.

There are some moderate verbal sex references, which are comic in nature.
