violence
The killing of the central character occurs during a chaotic shootout in a warehouse. When the man is shot, he falls backwards to his apparent death. However, there is little detail and he immediately stands up, looks around and notices that everything about him has been frozen in mid-motion. There are various other action scenes throughout the film as the main character and his new partner chase after villains who transform into monsters. In one scene, the villain stabs a woman in the back with a metal spear but no detail is shown. A shootout follows in which monsters and creatures disappear when shot. The villain smashes the main character in the head several times with concrete blocks and bricks. However, because he is already dead, nothing happens to him and the scene is both comic and fantastical.
additional issues
The film also contains a few sex references, including to scrubbing porn off a laptop and to prostitution. However, the references are undetailed and comic. There is sight of a white powder being snorted. However, this is not presented as real drug use as the villains who use it immediately transform into creatures. There are some uses of moderate bad language ('bitches', 'whore', 'cock up') and milder bad language ('shit', 'bullshit', 'ass', 'asshole', 'crap', 'pissed', 'son of a bitch'). In one scene, a man gives another character the 'middle finger' gesture.
