There are bloody stabbings and impalements, and a person’s throat is cut in gory fashion. In another scene a man slaps his young adult son. There are also verbal references to the murder of a newborn baby.

Frightened characters are menaced by various threats such as demonic entities, ghosts and a masked serial killer, resulting in sustained scenes of horror and ‘jump scare’ moments. In other scenes a woman is subjected to a series of threatening phone calls, and is then hunted and attacked by a hatchet-wielding stalker.
