There is a prolonged scene in which a man tries to help a woman after she suffers a miscarriage. However, the woman subsequently dies in a scene followed by brief close-up sight of blood on her dress and shoe. It is reported that a woman dies in childbirth, and following which there is a scene of emotional upset in which her young son cries whilst holding her hand. There are brief abortion references; however, there is no abortion scene.
