LIFE AFTER FIGHTING is an Australian action thriller in which a martial arts instructor is forced to confront a child trafficking gang when two of his students are kidnapped.

LIFE AFTER FIGHTING is an Australian action thriller in which a martial arts instructor is forced to confront a child trafficking gang when two of his students are kidnapped.

violence
Scenes of strong violence feature bloody shootings and stabbings, as well as crunchy beatings and martial arts infused fight sequences. In one scene a man delivers a frenzied stabbing to a man's leg and neck. In another, he delivers repeated heavy blows to a man's face, resulting in sight of blood and brain matter. There is also a scene in which it is implied that a man cuts off his son's little finger; however, the action is largely hidden from view. Elsewhere in the film, a woman makes verbal references to her ex-husbands controlling and abusive behaviour.
threat and horror
There are scenes of strong threat in which children are kidnapped and held captive by human traffickers. One child sadly dies as a result of her injuries. There are also tense sequences in which a man points a gun to his son's head and threatens to shoot him.
language
There is use of strong language ('f**k'), which is accompanied by other moderate ('prick') and milder terms ('shit', 'hell' and 'God').
injury detail
Violence leads to blood spatter and some gorier images, such as brain matter during and after shootings and beatings.
flashing/flickering lights
This work contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
The film also contains moderate sex references, a woman found unconscious after a suspected overdose on prescription medication, as well as references to drug misuse, such as a man clearing his nose in the aftermath of snorting a substance off-screen.
