- The film also contains a scene in which a teenage boy cuts an electrical wire with scissors to get rid of a gremlin who is swinging on it, and a scene showing a gremlin sticking its fingers in a light socket, resulting in electrocution. In one scene a teenage girl explains that she discovered Santa Claus didn't exist when her father died while dressed as Santa, after falling down the chimney and breaking his neck. On occasion the gremlins are shown smoking and drinking to excess, however, the film does not promote or encourage the activities. Mild language features, including use of 'crap', 'asshole', 'Christ', 'God', hell' and 'goddamn'.
