A dog and cat find themselves in dangerous situations as they are pursued by men from an animal control service and threatened by other animals, such as a rattlesnake and a vulture which intends to make a meal of them in its lair in which the bones of its previous victims lie around. A pair of human characters are trapped on a rollercoaster ride which goes out of control. Whilst occasionally intense, the threat in these scenes is not unduly prolonged and an emphasis is placed on the bravery, resourcefulness and co-operative efforts of the protagonists to bring about reassuring outcomes.

There is infrequent mild bad language (‘ass’), as well as milder terms such as ‘screw up’ and ‘hell’.
rude humour
Very mild rude humour includes a cat being caught on a revolving chandelier and sent spinning around, which causes it to send a comical spray of vomit across a room. An animal belches and a green cloud coming out of its mouth signifies its smelly breath. There are also jokes about flatulence.
