People are kicked or struck with sticks in scenes of moderate violence. In another scene, a group of men chase down a man and woman, tie them up and strip the weeping woman’s upper body bare - without sight of nudity - before covering them in stinging ants.

We see people being chased and attacked during scenes of moderate threat. An upsetting scene shows a group of women, having been given a choice between forced marriage or suicide, lining up and jumping into a body of water.

There is infrequent use of moderate bad language ('bitch'), in addition to more frequent use of milder terms (e.g. 'God').

Throughout the film we see a lower caste community being ostracised, persecuted and subjected to physical violence in scenes of historical caste discrimination. Discriminatory attitudes and behaviour are not condoned.
