violence
In a clearly established fantastical context, good and evil factions battle one another with bows and arrows and swords, as well as magical powers that unleash energy blasts. A monstrous horned creature hurls human characters around and throws masonry at them, and a friendly dragon is shot in the wing with a crossbow bolt, but there is no realistic injury detail. A person slaps another in the face, and in response he is hit with a blunt object.
threat and horror
Both human characters and fantastical friendly creatures face threatening situations, such as intended beatings, falls from heights and attacks by poisonous insects. A man transforms into a horned monster and zombie-like creatures menace a group of soldiers. These scenes of mild threat and scariness are not unduly sustained and reassuring outcomes arrive in timely fashion.
language
There is implied mild bad language as a character says, "This stuff tastes like sh...", but quickly changes the term to 'sugar'.
rude humour
A mouse vomits in comical fashion.
theme
There are very mild upsetting scenes centred on the deaths of sympathetic characters, but these moments are either fantastical or handled with restraint and sensitivity.
