CJ7 is a Hong Kong fantasy comedy in which a young boy finds an alien pet with special powers

violence
A father briefly slaps his son across the legs, and in another scene he locks the boy in a cupboard overnight. Scenes of violence include those in which a child briefly tries to drown an alien creature in a toilet, children believe the creature to be a toy and try to cut it open below frame, and fight scenes which are often stylised and unrealistic. All of these scenes lack detail.
discrimination
An aggressive child calls a smaller boy a 'dwarf'. A child is fat-shamed, is called a 'monster' by another child, and other children pelt her before she runs away in distress. Discrimination is displayed by negatively presented characters.
A man falls off a building and dies; his young child cries, but an alien creature soon brings the man back to life using its special powers. There is a bullying theme which includes a scene in which children tease and beat up another child. However, there is no significant violent detail, bullying is not condoned by the work as a whole, and the children eventually amicably settle their differences. There is brief sight of a person's slightly burned arm before he is healed by a fantastical creature, as well as brief sight of blood on a surgeon's glove. Scenes of toilet humour include one in which an alien creature sprays poo over a child. The creature also comically defecates into a child's hand. Mild bad language ('turd') occurs, as well as milder terms ('butt').

There is also a minor theme of bullying when two children tease and beat up another child, though there is no significant violent detail. Both themes are treated sensitively.
