Note: The following text may contain spoilers

THE ZERO THEOREM is a science fiction fantasy in which a reclusive computer genius is tasked with solving a mathematical formula that might determine the meaning of life.

Language

There are ten uses of strong language ('f**k'). There is also some use of milder bad language, including the terms 'arse', 'bastard', 'bitch' and 'shit'.

Sex

The strongest sex references are visual, mostly relating to a female character's virtual reality sex website. The home page of this website includes an image of the woman wearing a short skirt, blue stockings and her hair arranged in pigtails. She is reading a copy of the Kama Sutra and a caption over her crotch reads 'Enter Me' (i.e. the website). Other moving images on the website include the woman, now dressed in black lingerie, dancing and removing her bra to reveal her breasts. In another scene, depicting a virtual reality sexual encounter, a male character removes his female partner's bikini top and kisses a breast.
