WHITE BOY RICK is a US crime drama in which a Detroit teenager becomes the FBI's youngest ever informant.

Language

There is frequent strong language ('f**k', 'motherf**ker') alongside milder terms including 'bitch', 'prick', 'dick', 'bastards', 'bullshit', 'piss', 'shit' and 'asshole'. There are also uses of the word 'nigga', spoken by black characters.

Violence

A man is heavily beaten with a champagne bottle. There are bloody shootings and a scene in which a group of teenagers fire upon a nest of rats, resulting in some splashes of blood.

Drugs

Characters smoke marijuana joints and a woman snorts cocaine off the back of her hand. There are also frequent visual and verbal references to drug dealing, including scenes in which crack cocaine is prepared, packaged and sold. A drug addict experiences painful withdrawal symptoms when she is forced to detox.

Other issues include moderate sex references and brief female breast nudity during a scene set in a strip club.

There is some bloody surgical detail as doctors attempt to save the life of a young man who has been shot.
