THE RUNNER is a US drama about a politician struggling to deal with the effects of an oil spill and with a personal scandal.

Language

Occasional strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder terms including 'shit' and 'son of a bitch'.

Sex

One strong sex scene, including some breast nudity. Also several verbal references to characters having extra-marital affairs and sexual encounters with prostitutes.

There is also mild violence as a man is slapped across the face, and a scene in which a drunk man deliberately crashes his car through a gate and has blood on his face afterwards.
