THE ODYSSEY is a French biographical drama following the life of biologist and adventurer Jacques Cousteau and his relationship with his son Philippe.

Language

Occasional mild bad language includes 'bullshit', 'shit' and 'ass'.

Threat

In a brief sequence, a man struggles to escape from his small plane after it crashes into the sea. We later learn that he did not survive.

Violence

One man punches another during an argument.

There are mild scenes of bereavement. Very mild sex references include sight of a couple waking up in bed together. There are also occasional scenes of smoking.
