THE LODGER - A STORY OF THE LONDON FOG is a silent film in which a killer known as 'The Avenger' is murdering fair haired woman, leading a family to become suspicious of their lodger.
- Threat
There are a number of scenes in which women are attacked by the killer. After death, the victims are shown lying on the ground with no visible injuries. In one sequence a character is shown to have blood trickling from his mouth after he is apprehended by a large mob.
There is also use of very mild bad language,with uses of 'damn' and 'God'. In addition, several characters are shown smoking, reflecting the period in which the film was made
