LAURENCE ANYWAYS is a subtitled French language drama about a male schoolteacher called Laurence who wants to be a woman.

Language

There is strong language ('f**k') throughout, as well as a single use of very strong language ('c**t'). There is also some moderate and mild bad language, including uses of 'bitch', 'screw-up', 'goddamn', 'God', 'shit', 'piss', 'damn', and 'crap'.

There are occasional scenes of joint smoking, as well as verbal references to soft drug use. However, there is no instructional detail and the film as a whole does not promote or encourage drug use. There are also scenes of tobacco smoking.

In one scene Laurence feels threatened by a man in a bar and suddenly headbutts him. There is little detail in the scene beyond some undetailed blows and brief sight of blood.

There also some moderate verbal sex references.

This work contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
