JUNGLE is a drama, set in the 1980s and based on true events, in which a group of friends go trekking in the Bolivian jungle but soon struggle to survive in their harsh new environment.

Occasional use of strong language (‘f**k’), as well as milder terms (‘asshole’, ‘shit’).

Injury detail

A man cuts open a lump on his head and removes a squirming worm, with blood and pus coming from the wound. Several scenes focus on bloody and blistered feet.

A couple have a hallucinogenic trip after taking an unidentified drug. There are references to the positive effects of taking ‘speed’.

There is moderate threat faced by people from the natural environment and the elements. There is also partial breast nudity, women with bare backs in sexually provocative poses, and natural buttock nudity.
