DR. CABBIE is a romantic comedy about a young Indian doctor who emigrates to Canada, only to end up driving a taxi cab.

Sex

A man has a woman perform a pole dance for him in his bedroom, and then puts a condom in his mouth when someone walks in on them; he pretends he has bubble gum in his mouth and blows the condom into a balloon. Later, a man remembers meeting his wife when she was a pole dancer. There are flashback images of a woman pole dancing for the man, and the dialogue, "I was so moved, I nearly popped". There are further sex references and innuendo in the film's dialogue.

There is a scene in which a woman is about to jump off a bridge in an act of suicide, but is convinced not to go through with it. She is later seen to have overdosed on prescription tablets, but survives the suicide attempt. There is also use of mild bad language (eg 'dickhead', 'shit', 'ass')
