DETOUR is a US crime thriller in which a young law student enters into an arrangement to have his stepfather murdered.

Language

There is frequent strong language ('motherf**ker' and 'f**k').

Sex

In one scene, a young man watches a pornographic film on his computer in which a man thrusts vigorously into the rear of a woman. The scene is brief and there is neither nudity nor explicit detail. The film also includes several strong verbal sex references.

Drugs

A man snorts white powder through a rolled-up banknote. There are also several verbal drug references.

Other issues include infrequent moderate violence and brief sexualised female breast nudity as pole dancers perform in a club.
