CITY OF GHOSTS is a documentary about "Raqqa Is Being Slaughtered Silently", a group of citizen journalists who risk their lives to document and film Islamic State atrocities in their home city.

Disturbing images

The film includes footage of real killings in which groups of blindfolded or hooded men are shot in the head at close range. There are also still pictures of a man being thrown from the roof of a tall building and footage of a number of decapitated bodies lying on a pavement, the heads having been placed on the spikes of an adjacent metal fence.

Other issues include infrequent strong language ('motherf**ker' and 'f**k').
