AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON is a 1981 horror film, in which a man is bitten by a wolf and subsequently turns into a werewolf.

Language

There is infrequent very strong language ('c**t'), as well as some strong language ('f**k').

Violence

The film contains some scenes in which people are attacked by werewolves, accompanied by sight of blood and injury detail. During a dream sequence, a man believes his family is killed by monsters with sight of children lying dead covered in blood and the man himself having his throat slit. Other scenes include sight of a decomposing undead character with parts of his face ripped away by a werewolf's claw, and another dream sequence in which a woman is repeatedly stabbed by a monster.

The film also contains a sex scene in which breast nudity is seen, and a climactic sequence set in a Soho sex cinema which includes breast nudity.
